At Rig, our Reformer Pilates and Mat Pilates group classes are designed with you in mind. Our classes are small format, allowing our highly trained instructors to get to know you and understand your goals and needs. Whether you are looking to increase your range of motion and flexibility, gain strength, or just have fun with friends, we have a class for you! Most of our Reformer Pilates and Mat Pilates group classes are suitable for all levels.
Control, however, is an Intermediate / Advanced class taught on mixed apparatus and not suitable for beginners or clients new to our studio. If you have any questions, please contact us directly.
Reformer Pilates
Suitable for all levels, Reformer Pilates classes use exercise progressions, allowing options to adapt Pilates movements to meet our student’s preferences, fitness levels, or physical limitations.
Reformer Plus
Please note THIS IS NOT A BEGINNER CLASS. This advanced class is sure to reform your body and your practice in a whole new way!
Reformer Plus is an advanced Reformer class that focuses on technique, core strength, coordination, balance, and control! This class challenges the advanced Pilates student as it moves at a brisk pace and includes intricate choreography and balance sequences. RP is perfect for the experienced Pilates student who is looking to push themselves to the next level!
Matwork Pilates
Suitable for all levels, yet a challenge to all levels, Mat Pilates is an intense workout! Classes are designed with focus on integrating the entire body, rather than exercising each body part separately.
Mat Barre
Suitable for all levels.
High-energy mat workout that captures the essence of a barre class without using a barre. With a blend of bodyweight exercises, Pilates weights, and props, this class provides a comprehensive full-body workout. Set to an upbeat rhythm, you'll engage in dynamic movements that build strength, core stability, and flexibility.
Mat Barre will leave you feeling strong, invigorated, and ready for anything.
Control
Our Intermediate/Advanced class, Control uses a mix of Pilates apparatus (Reformer/Tower/Wunda Chair). Be prepared to lengthen, strengthen, and isolate every part of your body. You will feel completely lighter and taller by the end of this class. Great on any day that you need that full Pilates balance.
Please note this class is NOT suitable for beginners. Reformer classes are a prerequisite to attendance.
Cardio Pilates
Adding the Jumpboard to a Reformer machine brings additional plyometric and cardio benefits to Reformer Pilates. Cardio Reformer is a great way to help you push past any plateaus in your training, while the extra variety will help keep you interested and motivated.
This is not a class for complete beginners; you should have a few classes under your belt, be reasonably body-aware, and be looking to work harder and push yourself further.
